12 Pictures of Sanibel Island

Sanibel Island is for the nature lover, the beach lover, the relaxation lover and the shell hunter lover!  Since the Whyte family falls into all of those categories, it is one of our favorite places to be.  We started at J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, had lunch then continued onto the beach.  Sanibel Island is known for its shell lined beaches.  If you love shell hunting, you will LOVE Sanibel.

It’s crazy how many shells are on the beaches of Sanibel. Your pictures paint a story of a wonderful time on the island. Thank you for sharing.

My ten year old asks the same question when we go to any beach “Will there be shells like Sanibel?”

Looks like a fun day with the family! Though I’m not sure I would get close enough to the snake to take that picture!
