The Luke Bryan concert in Marshall Wisconsin is fast approaching.  People are making accommodation plans and scouting out where to eat and things to do.  Marshall is located very close to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and the Statz Brothers farm is located between Marshall and Sun Prairie.  Finding accommodations, places to eat and things to do will be a little easier when looking at Sun Prairie. The concert is on a Thursday night so make a long weekend of it, and stay through Sunday.  With so much to do in the area, you will be so happy you stayed.

Before the Luke Bryan Concert, you may want to stop for a late lunch.  Buck and Honey’s in Sun Prairie is the perfect place to get some amazing food and sit outside to enjoy the weather. Our family sat outside because the weather was beautiful.  We ordered all different foods from pizza to Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps.  My favorite was the fish and shrimp tacos! My kids loved the pizza and Marty was sold on the fish fry.

We were especially impressed by the service provided to everyone that was eating outside.  Our server Maddy was super fun and made our lunch an event!

Later we played corn hole and had a drink.  What a great place to warm up for the concert. If you are staying overnight head to Buck and Honey’s the next day for lunch.

Finding accommodations for this huge concert might be difficult.  People will be coming from far away states looking to follow the Luke Bryan Farm Tour.  Make your reservations soon, if you haven’t already. We suggest staying at Whistle Stop Campground in Marshall, Wisconsin.  They have amazing cabin rentals that you can split with a few other couples or even families because they sleep up to 12!

There are a variety of other camping sites too.  Whistle Stop can accommodate tenters, small campers and large Class A motorhomes.  There are full hook-ups or just electricity and water. Whatever your camping/cabin needs are Whistle Stop will accommodate you.

Depending on the weather the inflatables pond may still be open.  Our kids loved the inflatables and played for hours running, jumping, hanging and whatever else kids do on inflatables.  There were also many parents on those inflatables too!

The store is so well stocked, you can get pizza, hot dogs, ice cream and more.  If you need camping supplies, they have those too!

Things to do in and around Marshall, Wisconsin

Hopefully, you are staying the weekend in the area to enjoy all the things to do in and around Marshall, Wisconsin.

There are two state parks within an hour of Whistle Stop Campground. Devil’s Lake State Park and Governor Dodge State Park. Go kayaking, swimming, hiking and more.

Like Disc Golf?  Charles Langer Family Park in Marshall, WI has one of the most challenging disc golf courses in the Madison area.

If fishing is your game, Riley-Deppe County Park in Marshall, WI has a public boat launch for non-gas powered boats and fishing is allowed from shore.  Spend the day fishing, kayaking, playing on the equipment and picnicking.

Nearby in Waterloo, is the Trek Bike Company world headquarters.  Take a tour of the facilities on Wednesdays at 10 am but call ahead to reserve your spot.

Madison, the state capital of Wisconsin is not far away and is the perfect day trip from Whistle Stop.  Tour the capitol, take a stroll down State Street, go to the Children’s Museum, a bike ride on the miles and miles of trails in the city, go to UW Madison and sit out on the terrace.  So many things to do, just 30 minutes away.
